Hello! My name is Ayush Anand and I enjoy creating things that solve social challenges globally. Apart from being a GSoC 2022 student for IOOS, I am a CS Undergrad at NIT Durgapur and a full-stack and machine learning developer leveraging AI for Social Good.

RespirCov | Blockchain powered interactive ventilator and hospital beds tracker
RespirCov is a blockchain-powered application to provide a live, interactive dashboard for monitoring ventilator availability in an area. It shows hospital-wise numbers for vacant and occupied ventilators enabling the doctors, healthcare activists, patients, and other stakeholders to check the status in real-time.

Deep Learning Research for FasterRCNN model on Underwater Image Data from the Great Barrier Reef
The goal of creating a FastRCNN based object detection model was to accurately identify starfish in real-time, trained on underwater videos of coral reefs. The model can accurately identify COTS from video footage and output coordinates of a "bounding box" with the location of the COTS.

Analyzed Tokyo Olympics 2020 data and identifying really interesting patterns such as gender, country and ethnicity diversity across disciplines.
Generate TV Script using RNNs (Python)
This projects involves generating TV scripts by defining and training a recurrent neural network (deep learning).
NephronAI — Fighting chronic kidney disease using machine learning
Built a web-based accessible tool for individuals, practicing physicians, hospitals, to detect chronic kidney disease with 99%+ accuracy based on a Random Forest model, get the underlying cause using Fuzzy logic, and recommended change in lifestyle to help tackle the disease.
Alec AI Assist | Fighting fake news using the google assistant
Alec AI Assist is a voice and text based virtual assistant to help us combat fake news, allowing a user to fact check a news, blog, tweet or SMS and return whether that seems fake or true - all by simply talking to it! It is also available on the Google Assistant.
